The International Student Festival in Rome (ISFiR) is both a festival and a conference. The festival is open for students of all faculties from all over the world. With more than 450 participants from over 100 countries it is the largest event of its kind anywhere in the world.

ISFiR 2003 should be a meeting platform for young people from different culture areas to get to know each other and discuss their points of view.

Rome has always been a city with great traditions for student commitment and activities, yet some believed that there was room for more. By bringing together students from many different parts of the world, they wanted to create an event that would be both a conference and a festival.

ISFiR has grown to become the world's largest thematic student festival with more than 105 countries represented in 2002.

At ISFiR, a diversity of young people get the opportunity to meet each other. The festival is an arena for overcoming cultural, political and religious borderlines, in order to promote tolerance and understanding.

ISFiR 2003 focuses on the individuals and their thoughts, opinions and visions under the theme "Challenging Attitudes".

The conferences are fully staffed by experienced instructors, operations coordinators and the directors of our organization. We are all young, university educated individuals dedicating our time and effort to providing others with rewarding cross-cultural experiences.
